The tension over a woman patient’s death in a nursing home in Jagatsinghpur subsided after the nursing home authority assured to pay Rs1 lakh to the victim’s family.In a meeting of the deceased woman’s kin and her villager, the Rahama-based nursing home owner agreed to pay the sum of money, apart from promising to return the charges taken for conducting treatment of the woman and not lodging any complaint against the people who ransacked the nursing home on Monday night.Meanwhile, the new born baby, the deceased woman had given birth to, was shifted to the Sisu Bhawan at Cuttack for treatment.The police have registered an unnatural death case.
