The Biramitrapur police station IIC has lodged a complaint of domestic violence against her Lecturer-husband with the Rahunathpalli police on Thursday.
In her complaint, Snigdharani Suna said she had married 13 years ago. Three years after the marriage, her husband reportedly tortured her both mentally and physically.
Besides, her husband allegedly attempted to kill her. Eventually she decided to lodge the complaint.
A case has been registered in this connection and investigation is underway, said police. Snigdharani’s husband is a Lecturer at the Government Autonomous College at Panposh here.
