Alleging police inaction over her complaint6, a woman attempted to commit suicide in front of the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell here on Monday.
The woman identified as a resident of Nirakarpur in Khordha district attempted to end her life by hanging herself from a nearby tree.
She alleged that police are taking no action despite her several appeals to give her justice over a land dispute in her village due to which she has been tortured by some miscreants. The woman was rescued by police and some locals. later, she was taken to the Capital police station for questioning.
