The Commissionerate police would appeal to a local court to obtain warrant to arrest IndusInd Bank’s Regional Manager K Surendra in the sexual harassment case if he fails to appear before the police. It was informed by Bhubaneswar DCP Satyabrata Bhoi on Monday. He said police have served a notice to the manager to appear before the Saheed Nagar police station IIC and the Zonal ACP within 14 days to record his statement in the case of sexual harassment filed against him by a woman employee of the bank.
“If Surendra fails to appear before the police, we will appeal to the court to obtain an arrest warrant,” Bhoi said.
