In the first semifinal match between the Tata Steel, Kalinganagar and lawyers Club, Jajpur Road on Saturday at the NC High School ground here, the Tata Steel beat the lawyers Club by 54 runs and has entered into final which will be played on Sunday.
Sukinda MlA Pritee Ranjan Ghadai, Cl Korna, Vyasanagar Municipality Chairperson Sabita Rout, BJP leader Biswajit Nayak, former chairperson Bandita Parida, Basant Patra were present during the inauguration ceremony.
The first match the lawyers Club, Jajpur Road beat the Friends-11, Jajpur Road by 52 runs. While in second match the Tata Steel, Kalinganagar ruled over the Vyasanagar Press Forum by 91 runs.
The tournament was organised by the Vyasanagar Press Forum and sponsored by the Tata Steel in which eight teams participated.
