The State Transport Authority (STA) has allowed new vehicle registration at the Sundargarh, Rourkela, Nuapada and Gajapati RTOs as the State Government has permitted opening of vehicle showrooms in Sundargarh, Nuapada and Gajapati districts from June 1.
The Government has not allowed opening of vehicle showrooms in other districts during the ongoing lockdown.
The Regional Transport Officers of Sundargarh, Rourkela, Nuapada and Gajapati have been instructed to allow the dealers to have access to the VAHAN portal for registration of new motor vehicles from June 1 till further orders are issued on the matter.
