A Vendors’ meet was organised by the Vedanta limited at lanjigarh in Kalahandi district in which 60 vendors belonging to its partner companies participated. Vedanta COO KK Dave inaugurating the meet said the company behaves its vendors as business partners to achieve its goals and to work for betterment of locals as well. He emphasised on adopting CSR of the local area as a business culture which would be helpful in creating a healthy atmosphere.
HRD head Amit Joshi welcomed the vendors and requested them to work together as a team to achieve company’s goals. The meet was attended by senior executives of the Vedanta ltd and its partner companies. A joint managing committee was formed headed by Dave. Heads of various departments and representatives of partner companies are its members.
They are Bimalananda Senapati, Jalaj Malpani, Amit Joshi, D Ravindranath, Anil Kumar Gupta, Jugal Mishra, Rabi Narayan Mishra, Biraja Sankar Mund, Sanjiv Kumar, Nabal Sharma and Suniti Dhal belonging to Vedanta, AC Jena of the OSl, l Suresh Kumar of Hoffincons, Prakash kumar Gour of Chennai-Radha, BK Sahu of Wartsila, Sridhar Pesnia and Ravi Kumar of Cemfis, K Sridharan of KSE), Rajendra Mali, Binod Goud, Subash Agrawal, Sridhar Sahu of Orissa Ent. The committee would work to ensure smooth operation of the plant, functioning of business associates and participation of all concerned in strategic welfare initiatives and community connecting initiatives.
