Close on the heels of the death of an under-trial prisoner (UTP) in Puri, an inmate of the Nabarangpur Sub-Jail died while undergoing treatment at a hospital on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Ramadhara Bhotra of Dasapaiguda village under Kodinga police station. According to sources, Bhotra fell ill on Monday evening, following which was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital.
However, he was declared dead while undergoing treatment. Bhotra was lodged in jail since January 22 following his arrest under POCSO Act, sources informed..
