Science needs to be used for welfare of the whole world, said Higher Education Minister Pradeep Kumar Panigrahy while attending the valedictory ceremony of the International conference organised by the PG Department of Chemistry of the Berhampur University here on Sunday. Addressing scientists, professors, researchers, students and fellows of chemistry at the three-day long international conference, Panigrahy suggested them to come up with new ideas and innovations to give a dimension to the development of science in the country.
Among others, Berhampur University Vice Chancellor Deepak Kumar Behera, Registrar Prof Manmath Padhi, PG Council Chairman Prashant Kumar Padhi, convener of the conference Prof Sunakar Panda spoke. Delegates including scientists, professors and researchers from Russia, Germany, Poland, Japan, Taiwan and Nigeria attended the conference.
