Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with BJP spokesperson Rama Chandra Panda visited Kalajamuna village in Ganjam district and consoled family members of the four children who died due to collapse of a Phailin-affected mud house on Monday. Both Pradhan and Panda assured victims’ parents all help on behalf of the Government and the party, sources said. It may be noted that four children, Sandip Sahu (6), Srabani Mali (6), Nalini Mali (5) and Sesha Mali (3) of the village died after a mud wall collapsed on them while they were playing. Though villagers rescued the children, yet could not take them to the hospital soon due to non-arrival of 108-Ambulance. While two children died on the spot, two others declared dead in the hospital, sources said.
