Union Minister of State for Road Transport & Highways, Shipping and Chemicals & Fertilisers Mansukh l Mandaviya made an official visit to the Paradip Port Trust (PPT) on Thursday as part of routine inspection.
The Minister was warmly greeted by PPT Chairman Rinkesh Roy along with Heads of the Departments. In the forenoon, the Minister made a review of the PPT activities.
Thereafter, he had an interactive session with PPT officials, Trustees and unions.
After the meeting, he inspected port operations in the dock area. In the afternoon, he attended another meeting with officials of the Petroleum, Chemicals and Petrochemicals Investment Region (PCPIR) and the Plastic Park. During the review of progress of PCPIR and Plastic Park, he
stressed on collaborative approach for faster development to bring about an overall development of the area.
