Union Commerce and Industries Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to inaugurate a two-day national symposium on manufacturing and best practices to improve the business environment here on Friday.
The symposium is being jointly organised by Industries Department and the Union Industrial Policy and Promotion Department. CM Naveen Patnaik, the State Industries Minister and Chief Secretary and many Union and State Government officials would also attend the symposium. Sources said Industries Secretaries and Managing Directors of Industrial Development Corporations of all States too would participate.
