A review meeting on the progress of schemes in Odisha was undertaken by Union Minister, Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Kalraj Mishra on April 4 here with the officers of various departments under his Ministry.
At the outset, he reviewed the progress of the different schemes being implemented by the MSME- Development Institute, Cuttack, Coir Board, Bhubaneswar, KVIC, Bhubaneswar, NSIC, Bhubaneswar and MSME-Tool Room, Bhubaneswar. He also reviewed the progress of implementation of different initiatives like Make in India, Digital India, Start-up India etc, for the benefit of MSME entrepreneurs.
He reviewed various schemes like, Cluster Development, NMCP Schemes, PMEGP, SFURTI, MDA, EDP and Skill Development etc. During the meeting, Mishra advised the representatives of different organisations operating in Odisha under his Ministry to propagate the message among entrepreneurs, giving more focus on the entrepreneurs existing in the grassroots level, women and SC/ST entrepreneurs to reap the benefit of the different schemes.
