Bodies of two minors, a boy and a girl, were found hanging from a tree in the backyards of a cashew nut mill near Kundraguda village under the Borigumma police station in the district on Sunday.
The deceased minors were identified as Raghunath Gouda (17) and Laxmi Gouda (15) of Kundraguda village.
Some villagers spotted the bodies hanging from the tree and informed their family members.
As per the family members of Raghunath, he had gone outside after having his dinner on Saturday night but did not return. Police rushed to the spot upon getting information and sent the bodies for postmortem.
Though police are yet to ascertain the reason behind the death of the minors, it is alleged that the duo was into a love relationship and might have committed suicide over the matter.
