The Malgodown police here on Monday detained two persons, including the security guard of an ATM located at College Square, upon an allegation of a woman claiming that she was ill-treated by the duo inside the ATM kiosk late on Saturday evening.
Police, however, were verifying the veracity of the complaint as the complainant had brought similar allegations against different people on different occasions.
“Every time the complaint turns out to be false and fabricated,” said a senior police officer of the city.
