Two new books, including Bhitaraku Raasta (Odia short stories) and Brass Flowers (English poetry), authored by Dr Adyasha Das were unveiled at a function held at the Nalco Auditorium here on Saturday.

While Bhitaraku Raasta is published by Adya Prakashani, the latter is published by the Pakhighar Prakashan. Eminent poet and Jnanpith awardee Sitakant Mahapatra inaugurated the programme in the presence of novelist Pratibha Ray. On the occasion, noted critic Archana Naik said that Adyasha’s Odia story collection is a dedication to individual sensitivity unraveling the mysteries of life in a heart-touching way.

Dr PK Mohanty highlighted the varied themes of Adyasha’s poems describing them as reflective and sensuous at the same time. Among others, Bijay Malla, Banoj Tripathy and Akshay Chandra Ray were present.
