Talcher Thermal Power Station (NTPC) Group General Manager Ram Kuber at a Press meet here reiterated the NTPC’s commitment towards greater productivity and efficiency in power generation.
He informed that the Talcher Thermal Power Station (TTPS), a unit of NTPC, is among the top performing stations of the country in the current fiscal in spite of the interruptions due to planned and unplanned outage.
Coal supply is an area of concern which he said would be overcome in the near future. He also informed that the NTPC was mulling over an expansion with 660MW X 2 units in its stage III. Preparatory studies are on for the above purpose, he maintaned.
He also informed the gathering about NTPC/TTPS unflinching commitment towards CSR and inclusive growth of society at large and to environmental concerns.
The GGM also informed that TTPS would be completing 50 years of operation next year making its way in the Ivy league of power plants
with such a long generating career. He expressed his gratitude to the media fraternity for their cooperation.
