With a day remaining for transfer of Brahma of the trinity and lord Sudarshan, the Shree Jagannath Temple servitors are scheduled to purify four gates of the temple on the Dwadashi Tithi (the twelfth lunar day of the Shukla fortnight of the month) after conducting the Bada Singhar ritual. This secret ritual will be performed in the midnight, followed by the procession of Bidyapati and Biswabasu, who play a vital role in changing the Brahma. Meanwhile, the priests have consecrated the wood (Daru) for construction of Brahma Kabati at Koili Baikuntha. Maharana servitors are busy constructing the new idols of lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra, lord Jagannath and lord Sudarshan. The work for carving out of new idols has reached final stage. On the other hand, Daitapati servitors are busy serving the ailing outgoing deities inside the temple.
