Passengers were stranded as movement of trains was hit in southern districts due to heavy rains since Saturday night with water running on the railway tracks.
A landslide affected the train services between Rayagada and Koraput and Rauli and leliguma.
The Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express was halted at the Bhalumuska railway station at Tumbhitarai village in Rayagada district in morning before it departed the station at around noon.
The Koraput-Visakhapatnam DEMU train was stopped at the Tikiri station.
