Train services slowly getting normal

PNS

Railway passenger service is slowly being resumed through Jajpur-Kendujhar Road station. For about a year and a half since March 22, 2020, the trains were discontinued on track due to corona crisis.  As a result, the passengers have to bear brunt. Besides, the hike in fares in all types of trains has added insult to injury. The Jajpur-Kendujhar Road station is an important station in East Coast Railway (ECoR). About 50 pairs of express and five pairs of passenger trains used to ply on line. There is a Jajpur Road station to connect Kalinganagar, the steel capital of Asian continent. People in four districts, including Jajpur, Kendrapada, Kendujhar and Dhenkanal depend on the station.  Though the DMU passenger train service was resumed from April 4 to May 16, it was subsequently discontinued due to the second wave of Corona.
