The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) began measurement of Trahi Achyuta Nagar at Jhiinti on the city outskirts on Wednesday.
Four Enforcement Squads were deployed to take
measurement of the entire Trahi Achyuta Nagar. The measurement of Siva Temple and 30 per cent of Trahi Achyuta Colony was completed. It would take 10 working days to furnish a complete report of the unauthorised constructions, BDA sources said.
After completion of the measurement, the BDA would take action as per the ODA Act-1982. The measurement drive was conducted by BDA liaison Officer Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty, Krushna Pradhan, Harekrushna Mishra, Bipin Bihari Jena, Purna Chandra Biswal, along with four squads of the BDA.
