A tourist boat parked at the Nehru Bungalow fishing port near here was reduced to ashes in a fire incident on Friday.
The boat had been parked here because of the Covid restrictions. Though the exact cause of the fire was not yet known, locals suspected it to be the handiwork of some miscreants. The Marine police arrived at the scene after being informed by the local people to investigate.
