The 35th World Tourism Day was observed by the Travel Agents’ Association of Odisha (TAAO) with the internationally-set theme ‘Tourism and Community Development’ here on Saturday.
BJB Autonomous College ex-Principal Brajendra Narayan Patnaik and Odisha Tycondo Federation President Subhranta Sekhar Singh attended the event as the chief guest and guest of honour, respectively. They spoke on how tourism can be conducive to advancing sustainable development from the grassroots level.
