Tigress Sundari, trans-located from a Madhya Pradesh forest to the Satkosia Tiger Reserve in Angul district, reportedly continued its reign of terror with killing of a cow and its calf at Bipradiha village near the sanctuary on Friday.
As panic spread in the area, the local Forest Ranger and police rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
Notably, Sundari had killed a woman in the area a couple of days ago, triggering protests by locals against its presence. The authorities have been contemplating to send the tigress back to the Madhya Pradesh forest.
