Swab samples of the Tehsildar of Kolnara in Rayagada district have been tested positive for Covid-19. Besides, an employee of the Tehsil office has also tested positive
This was informed by Rayagada Collector Pramod Kumar Behera on Tuesday.
The Collector ordered the Tehsil office to remain closed for seven days, during which the office would be sanitised.
The administration also asked citizens not to visit the Tehsil office during this period.
On Tuesday, samples of nine corona warriors in the district tested positive as well.
Till date, 242 persons in the district have contracted the virus. The number of active cases stands at 102.
