Four students from the KIIT University here will participate in a competition by SAE, USA to compete in the Society of Automotive Engineers’ International Aero Space Design West Series which is to be held at lockheed Martin, Van Nuys, California from April 12 to 14.
The Team KIIT Aero, as the group calls itself, will participate in the Micro Class Division Aero Design competition as it is required to make trades between two potentially conflicting requirements, carrying the maximum payload possible, while simultaneously pursuing the lowest empty weight possible.
The Team KIIT has excelled in various robotic events held in the IITs and NITs all over India winning first and second positions and also represented the university in various international competitions.
