Though five months in the current educational year have gone, Haladi UP School, Sodapali UP School, Kadobahal UPME School, lahanda UP School and Kadangapali UP School under Attabira block have been running by a single teacher.
All the schools have class 1to class VII but with one teacher each, academic activities have been adversely affected in the schools.
Though many complaints have been filed in this connection, they have borne little result. The locals have threatened to resort to an agitation if the vacant teacher posts are not filled soon.
