Paresh Majhi, a teacher of the Ramachandrapur Nodal High School at Ramachandrapur village under the Binjharapur police station in Jajpur district, is accused of raping a 15-year-old girl student for a long period making her pregnant. Acting on an FIR lodged by Mihir Jena of the District Child Rights Protection Unit, the police started investigation into the matter on Monday.
Jena alleged that the teacher sexually assaulted the Class-IX girl for months together for which she became pregnant, said Binjharapur PS IIC Asit Ranjan Mohanty.
