Sukinda BJD MlA Priti Ranjan Ghadai has demanded free medical services at the Tata Steel’s hospital at Duburi in Jajpur district.
Ghadai on Tuesday said the Tata Steel had earlier promised free medical services to the displaced people and others living in the periphery areas who are suffering from smog and pollution.
“Except the employees and some displaced people, the hospital is denying free treatment to others. The company had promised to provide free treatment to people in the project periphery areas,” said Ghadai. Most of the people in the Duburi area are poor tribals. They had high
hopes from the hospital. Now that they do not get free healthcare facilities, they feel let down, he added.
