The Tarbha police on Tuesday organised a meeting to felicitate the social workers and people who helped to make the “Paree Pain Katha Tiye” awareness campaign success. Tarbha police IIC SB Chatriya presided over the meeting.
SDPO Bhabani Shabbat Udgata and BDO Prasanna Pande graced the occasion as guests and felicitated youth BJD workers Danardan Thanapati, Durga Sahu, ICDS worker Sagarika Swain, Kumarpada Kirtan Group, Anganwadi workers and others. On the occasion, the guests also felicitated one Jhili Bag of Class-IV of Kandumuda village for rescuing her younger sister from 25 ft well. Sarpanch lokanath Dal Behera also awarded Rs1,000 to her for her bravery.
