Senior bureaucrat Taradatt, against whom his wife has levelled moral turpitude charge, on Tuesday failed to appear before the State Commission for Women (SCW) in response to its notice and sought more time for appearance.
But his wife Indulata Das, who came to the commission in compliance with the commission’s notice, reportedly came down heavily on the SCW for the delay in taking up her case though she has lodged the complaint since last several months.
Das again on Tuesday produced documents of call records made between Taradatta and his ‘ladylove’ Bandana Agrawal, a Delhi-based Indian Economic Service officer, as evidence before the commission.
According to sources, Das alleged that Taradatt has made 3,173 calls from his mobile phone in 162 days to Bandana and also sought the appearance of the lady.
With no option left the commission decided to summon Bandana Agrawal for appearance towards the end of October, the sources added.
