The 8th Neurovision Odisha was organised here jointly by the IMA, Bhubaneswar and the Neurological Society of Odisha here for two days on Friday and Saturday last.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Director Prof Gitanjali Batmananabane inaugurated the event in the presence of Prof Hari Das and organising chairman Prof BK Kunar and secretary Prof PK Sahoo. They discussed on the theme “Recent Advance in Neuro critical care for management of stroke, Neuro Trauma and Epilepsy.”
Resident doctors of Neurology and Neurosurgery from both Bhubaneswar and Cuttack medical teaching institutions presented their awarded papers to win the coveted “Best Papers Award” in both the subjects.
On Saturday, distinguished speakers of national and international reputation shared their knowledge on both the subjects and Anesthesiology. Prof Sanatan Rath, Prof Manas Panigrahi, Prof Chaturbhuja Rathore, Prof Hari Har Das and many others participated in different panel discussions.
The programme came to an end with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof PK Sahoo.
