Hundreds of Plus three students staged a protest and later locked the SVM College main gate here on Monday fuming college authority's decision to hike form fill-up fees. The students informed that a week ago they had paid their readmission fees. Strangely after readmission, the college authority was demanding Rs 800 to Rs 1,000 as form fill-up fees.Last year, the fees had been fixed at Rs 400 to Rs 600 but this year they were doubled. Compared to other colleges, the fees here are too high, the students fumed. On the other hand, college Principal Dr Niranjan Biswal refuted the students' allegation that exam fees have been hiked this year. The fee structures have been continuing for last six years, he said.
