Suspended IAS officer Bijay Ketan Upadhyay, who was arrested on graft charges by the Vigilance police, was released from the Jharpada jail here on Tuesday following his bail by the Orissa High Court on Monday.
Talking to mediapersons following his release from the jail, Upadhyay said the case is sub-judice and he would not speak anything about the matter. But whatever decision the court takes, he would abide by that.
Former Director of Horticulture Department Upadhyay and a private bank’ vice-president Santosh Kumar Pattanayak were arrested by the Vigilance police on December 30 and sent to judicial custody.
