Trahi Achyut Ashram chief Sura Baba alias Surendra Mishra and his son were produced in the Chhatrapur SDJM Court in land grabbing case on Thursday.
The State Crime Branch in the morning took the father-son duo to Chhatrapur from the Jharpada jail amid tight security. later, they were taken to the Chhatrapur jail.
Notably, Sura Baba had taken 894 decimals of land beside the National Highway from Mochiram Sahoo of Brahmapur. However, the self-styled Baba had not allegedly paid the full amount to Mochiram and threatened to eliminate him. The land owner had lodged complaint in this regard at the Chhatrapur police station.
