The Sunshine Hospital promised to provide free treatment for journalists and provide them health insurance. Besides it will provide a fifth of treatment cost free for their family members, which is Sunshine hospital’s priority under Corporate Social Responsibility, said hospital CEO Dr Nagaraju here on Friday.

Whereas the journalists are fighting, writing and working for the rights of others, they themselves remain at a disadvantageous position, he said.

“We are focused on Orthopedics, Joint Replacements, Arthroscopy, Intensive Care, Trauma surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic surgery, GI Surgery and laparoscopic surgery. Besides this, we have brought succor to patients from as far as Canada, Nigeria, Sri lanka, Bangladesh and Iran. Most of the patients come from eastern part of the country for which we established a hospital in Bhubaneswar,” he said.

The international patient care team at Sunshine hospital will be trained to understand the culture of various countries. The idea is to create a personalized interaction with the patients, he informed.

Dr Nagaraju claimed, “We are offering lowest cost for the same level of medical quality, care and service.”
