It is a matter of deep concern that a section of Odia newspapers have been regularly publishing erotic, aphrodisiac advertisements for promotion of certain sex-related products. The pictures have harmful effects on the minds of teenager readers. The owners and editors of the newspapers should not forget their moral obligation to the society just to earn some money. The concerned Government authorities also need to take steps to prevent such socially objectionable advertisements.
