Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday said his Government would inform about its stand on the proposed tripartite meeting over the Mahanadi issue in two days.
The proposed meeting would be headed by Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharti and attended by Patnaik and his Chhattisgarh counterpart Raman Singh.
Notably, Bharti had written a letter to Patnaik on Saturday asking him to mention the suitable date of the meeting. Earlier on August 25, Bharti had said that she would hold the meeting on a mutually-convenient date between September 10 and 20.
