Information and Public Relations Department Media Adviser Manas Ranjan Mangaraj here on Saturday said the State Government has given the first priority in Covid management to Ganjam district in view of its higher infection cases.
Mangaranj was interacting with media reporters here. He corroborated his claim saying two Covid Hospitals were established at a time recently and adequate numbers of doctors, nurses and pharmacists appointed in the district. He said adequate measures have been taken for proper management of Covid Care Centres.
He called upon people of the district and journalists to cooperate with the Government to check the further spread of Covid infection. He stressed on proper coordination among district administration officials, police and media representatives for combating the virus. On the occasion, he sought suggestions from senior scribes as regards to Covid fight.
Mangaraj said the number of Covid cases in Ganjam dis decreasing gradually with continuous efforts being made by Covid warriors such |as doctors, health workers, Anganwadi Workers and PRI representatives.
