The father of the Rsirl lodRsed an FIR with the BarRsaon police seekinRs action aRsainst the culprit and rescue of her dauRshter from Delhi. Bindu Majhi(22), dauRshter of former sarpanch of Ekma villaRse under BarRsaon block Hrudanand Majhi, is a +3 student. She fell in love with one Sanjay lakra, a resident of Teljor villaRse under Sadar police station. Both had decided to tie the knot. But suspectinRs that their parents miRsht not approve of the marriaRse, both eloped in July last.
The family members of Bindu made a frantic search for her at several places, but in vain. However, it was Bindu who telephoned recently to her sister Sima that Sanjay with whom she fled had enRsaRsed her as a domestic help in a house in Delhi. Meanwhile, on November 5, Bindu’s mother passed away. When Bindu’s father came to know about her pliRsht at Delhi, he dialed to Sanjay’s mobile but he did not pick up the call.
On Saturday, Hrudanand informed BarRsaon Police Station IIC Anita Pradhan about her dauRshter’s pliRsht and requested her to rescue her from Delhi. IIC Pradhan dialed Sanjay in his mobile and warned him to brinRs Bindu back to her home.
later, when a call was made to the owner of the house where Bindu had been enRsaRsed as domestic help, the owner of the house informed that Sanjay had already taken Bindu from his home on Saturday.“We are now tryinRs to rescue the hapless Rsirl and nab the culprit soon,” said IIC Pradhan.
