Prerana International chief commander Dillip Srichandan has been awarded as the ‘Indian Tree Man’.
He was felicitated by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal at the Shree Radha Jana Mohatsav held at Sakhigopal in Puri district. Till now, Srichandan has planted more 15 lakh saplings and protected 10 Gramya jungles.
He is also planning to hold green walkathon and convention on October 3 in Bhubaneswar and a convention of tree lovers and environmentalists on December 1.
