Here’s good news for people of the 18-44-year age group who are eagerly waiting to receive their second dose of Covid-19 vaccine as the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) would launch a special drive for it next week.
The special drive would start from June 8 and 9 at different vaccination centres in the city for the people aged between 18 and 44 years to get vaccinated completely with the second dose.
BMC sources said that persons, who had received their first dose on May 3, 4 and 5, would now be administered the second dose. In this regard, the beneficiaries would be notified by the BMC soon.
The vaccination would be done at session sites where the first dose had been administered to the beneficiaries, the sources said. Meanwhile, the BMC would also start a special drive soon for vaccination of working journalists at the Unit-6 Girls’ High School for their second dose of jab.
