Assembly Speaker Dr SN Patro on August 4 kick-started a plantation programme under which a target has been fixed to plant one million fruit trees in the State.
This to compensate the massive tree loss by the Fani cyclone.
About 30,000 jobs creation and 7,000 metric ton of fruits production are aimed under the project.JK Paper GM and State Head CSR Prafulla Dahl and Raj Mohan of SGI among others spoke on the occasion.
