International Indecency Prevention Movement organised a three-day Sovaniya Samaroha in the premises of National School of Decency of Udayagiri near Chandikhol.
Inaugurating the Samaroha on January 1, veteran Gandhian AV Swami said, “The meeting creates global men.”Speaking on the occasion, Justice AS Naidu appreciated the effort of Kumar Bhai for a healthy society. He hoped that the Sovaniya youth power can bring about a blissful change in society. Souvenirs ‘The Yubasurya’ and ‘The Universal Truth’ were released. Shri Som was given National Sovaniya Youth Award for his unique contribution to the development of youth community.
A seminar ‘Materialism versus Intellectualism’ was held where scholars of different universities participated and presented their papers. A peaceful rally for honour and security of women was flagged off by Dr Kabi Prasad Mishra. The rally started from Bhubaneswar Buddha Mandir and ended at Udayagiri. A free medical camp was also held.
Cardiologist Dr AK Bishi, Dr BK Das, Prof BK Patnaik, Dr Kalikinkar Patnaik, Bijay Kumar Nayak, Dr lR Das from Iran and youth representative Dr Sangram Roth among others attended as guests and stressed on growth of healthy mindset of the youths.
Former Minister SK Matlub Alli, USA-based nuclear physicist Dr Bhagabat Sahoo, Dr Prasanna Mishra, Dr Purnendu Mishra and Kapilendra Mishra spoke about formation of a decent society.
