Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday urged BJD MLAs to sincerely serve the people during the Covid-19 crisis.
Addressing the MLAs by videoconferencing, Patnaik said, “As legislators, they have done many development works, but the ongoing pandemic has offered the biggest challenge for our lives.” The CM said the pandemic also provides an opportunity to serve the people like never before and suggested the MLAs to ramp up the Jeevan Bindu blood donation programme.
He urged them to take care of the elderly and spread awareness on mask wearing, social distancing. Patnaik also expressed happiness for meeting the legislators on the auspicious Bahuda Yatra day.
