The Khordha BJP held a preparatory meeting on Friday concerning the visit of former MP Chief Minister and convener of BJP national membership drive Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday.
Chouhan will review the ongoing enrolment of new members in the party and take primary membership from Khordha. He will meet people from all walks of life including intellectuals, lawyers, women, educationists and businessmen and persuade them to enrol as a member of the BJP from the State at a function on Saturday. He will address a public rally as well.
BJP Khordha district membership drive chief Sudipta Ray, State secretary Dr Jatin Mohanty, BJP MLA nominee for Khurda in the last Assembly election Kalu Charan Khandeitaray, State executive member Rashmi Ranjan Mohapatra, among others were present in the meeting.
