Sheetal Patnaik, a minor girl who was injured in the tragic Bomikhal under-construction flyover collapse here on Sunday and admitted to the AIIMS here, is now out of danger, hospital sources said on Monday.
She is likely to be discharged from the hospital in a day or two, sources added.
Meanwhile, last rites of Sheetal’s father Satyabrata Patnaik, who had died in the mishap, were performed at Sati Chaura in Cuttack on Monday.
Notably, Sheetal was returning home from her dance class with her father by a scooter when the tragedy had struck them. Satyabrata died on the spot. Injured Sheetal was initially admitted to the Capital Hospital before being shifted to the AIIMS for better treatment.
