The Justice MB Shah Commission of inquiry probing the alleged mining illegalities in Odisha on Saturday completed hearing of lease holders at the Commission’s headquarters in Ahmedabad.
Supreme Court advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi presented his views on behalf of Sl Mines before Justice Shah.
However, the next date of hearing by the Commission on action plans under corporate social responsibility (CSR) for socioeconomic development of the people living in the mining areas of Keonjhar and Sundargarh districts will be held on April 21, sources said.
Earlier, the Commission has set April 19 for hearing on the subject.
Sources also said the Chief Secretary along with other senior Government officials will be present during the hearing. Earlier, the Commission confirmed that it would submit its report to the Union Government on July 16.
