The Odisha Beach Safety Committee has strongly opposed the Government's plan to open beach shacks under Mada Kudia scheme in Paradip.
Demanding immediate withdrawal of the project in Paradip beach, the committee members took out a rally from Paradip Mausi Maa Temple to Paradip ADM office and handed over a memorandum to the ADM.Increasing the number of liquor stores on the beach will increase crime and create social unrest in the area, the committee members said. So activists have opposed the increase in the number of liquor stores that has encouraged liquor consumption in the area.
