While it was for the first time such raids were conducted, Rath said the operation was pre-planned. “We are observing the house for many days and waited for sufficient evidence. So, as we got information about the illegal activities on Saturday, our entire team raided the spot and successfully nabbed the culprits,” said Rath, adding that an investigation is on to find out all others who are connected with the racket.

Meanwhile, the kingpin of the sex racket was identified to be from Bhubaneswar who in association with a few from Koraput and Jeypore, was carrying out the business. The locals here have demanded strict actions by the police in the case.
